I had a great week. It started with a sweet night in the city. Our friend Shannon Aldrich (in the pink), and her family got moved to Hawaii and we went to the city to have a farewell night to her. It started at a deliciously overpriced restaurant named Islero. We then walked over to Serendipity ( famous for their Frozen Hot Chocolate) where they all had delicious desserts and I partook in a tasteless herbal tea (I'm doing no sugar, don't ask. Marie we have to talk). We then decided to do the Empire State building. Anything goes when you don't have kids. It was amazing...the view is breathtaking. I love Manhattan!! It was a spontaneous night which led us to catch the 1:30 a.m ferry.

What a su-weet girl's night out. It might have been the craziest night in the city that I have ever had. Hopefully we'll have more to come.
(Katie) Hahaha, I love that we all consider it to be a "crazy/sweet" night in the city...If other nonmormons heard what our night entailed they would probably be surprised!
Love the "job security pic".
Taylor, what I meant to say but somehow got left out was they were the cutest gilbert boys ever. Of course we know your boys are indeed the CUTEST ever!! We'll have no boycotting on this trip! Once again, can't wait to see you. Are we going to caravan over on Saturday?? It'd be fun!
Susie, it's Linds!! How are you! Your family is adorable!! How fun to be living in New York!! You can never get bored!! We need to catch up and email one of these days... it's been awhile since we've chatted!! Love ya!!
Hey Susan, We all miss you guys in VA and your boys are adorable. I can't believe Colton's curly hair, how cute!! They both have gotten so big. The ward has definitely changed since you guys left. The Malone's are leaving at the end of July, so Jamie can go back to grad school at BYU. It looks like you guys are really enjoying NYC that is great, hope to hear back soon, Love, Crystal
